Romania Marks Centenary Anniversary of Adopting Gregorian Calendar with New Silver Coin

The Central Bank of Romania has issued a new silver coin to mark the passage of a century since the adoption of the use of the Georgen Calender by the then Kindom of Romania. In April 1919, Romania adopted the Georgen calender after it, like many other orthodox majority countries in Europe, adhered to the Julian Calendar.
