A samurai fighter in full gear has featured on a two-ounce ultra High Relief pure silver coin. This coin is the first release of the Warrior Series.

The reverse of the coin features a classical Samurai warrior in full gear and poised to fight. The Samurai warrior is holding two swords while wearing traditional Samurai full body armor, and a helmet. The Samurai castle appears in the background.

The obverse of the coin displays an effigy of Her Majesty Elizabeth II, along with the monetary denomination, 5 dollars, year of issue, 2019, and weight and quality of the metal. The issuing country, "NIUE ISLAND", is inscribed on the obverse.

The new coin is struck in 999 pure silver. It has a limited mintage of only 500 coins. It has an impressive antique finish and gold plating.

The Samurai refer to the members of the warrior class in Japan that rose to power in the 12th century and dominated the Japanese Government in the medieval era.
