The Royal Canadian Mint has recently released a gorgeous colored silver coin featuring the heart of wine country. Serving as an invitation to explore Canada’s award-winning wineries, this coin is the ninth Fun and Festivities Coin.

The reverse of the coin depicts a gateway to the heart of wine country, where the rolling hills are lined with fruit-laden grapevines. The grape clusters in the foreground hint at the bounty of the fall harvest season in Canada's many vineyards and wineries. The image is framed by stylized icons that represent popular outdoor activities and sights in Canada.

Queen Elizabeth II sits on the obverse, which also includes the monetary denomination of the coin, 3 dollars, and year of issue, 2019.

This coin is crafted from 7.96g of highly pure 99.99 pure silver. It has a limited mintage of only 4,000.
