Red pandas are members of their own genetic family, the Ailuridae. They stand out because to their reddish brown coat, black belly, white markings on the face, and bushy long tail. This color scheme helps the red panda hide from predators by blending in with the crimson moss and forest surroundings. They spend the most of their time sleeping and eating, primarily bamboo, grass, and sweet fruit. Red pandas are incredibly adaptable, which makes them superb climbers. They use trees for protection from predators and to relax in the sun.
