The 2020 1 oz Silver "Hand of Faith" Nugget celebrates the 1980 discovery of the "Hand of Faith" Gold Nugget, one of the largest Gold nuggets in existence.
The Hand of Faith Nugget was discovered on September 26, 1980 in Victoria, Australia. It was sold to The Golden Nugget Casino chain and is currently on display in their Las Vegas property.
The reverse depicts the Hand of Faith nugget along with the text "Hand of Faith, 1980". The Perth Mint's "P" mintmark, the year date, weight and purity are also included.
The obverse displays Jody Clark's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, along with monetary denomination of the coin, 1 dollar. This coin is now sold out at the mint!
