The reverse side of the coin features a colored image of the lovably cheeky Bart Simpson against a backdrop of Springfield’s local convenience store, Kwik-E-Mart. The reverse also shows the Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark and Matt Groening’s signature.
The obverse displays an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, along with the monetary denomination, year of issue, weight, and quality of the metal.
The new coin is crafted from 99.99 pure silver. It has a maximum mintage of only 5000 pieces.
