With Mother's Day just around the corner, a new stunningly beautiful colorized American Silver Eagle Coin has been dedicated to this special occasion. The new coin is designed to be a perfect gift for mothers on this occasion as a means of showing appreciation and gratitude.
Designed by John Mercanti, the reverse of the coin portrays a heraldic eagle behind a shield. The eagle is grasping an olive branch in its right talon and arrows in its left talon, echoing the Great Seal of the United States. Above the eagle, there are thirteen five-pointed stars representing the Thirteen Colonies. The reverse is inscribed with "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" along with the face value, weight, and fineness of the coin. "E PLURIBUS UNUM" also appears on the banner the eagle holds with his peak.
The obverse features a lady holding a banquet of beautiful yellow flowers in her left hand and grasping a red heart in her right. The lady is wearing the American flag with a red cap on her head. The obverse includes engraved inscriptions of "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST". It also shows the issue year of the coin.
The coin is struck in 999 pure silver by American Mint.
