Silver Mexican Libertads have incredibly low mintages for bullion pieces and their newer design is second to none. Get them while you can! The Mexican Silver Libertads are Mexico's Silver Bullion pieces and are rapidly gaining popularity in the United States and around the world which makes them more and more difficult to come by.
The design shows the volcanic mountains of Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl which holds, according to legend, the final resting place of Princess Iztaccihuatl. The princess died during the Mexican Independence War after a story similar to that of Romeo and Juliet. She was in love with the enemy warrior Popocatepetl but, because of the disgreements between their families, they were never able to be together. Again not unlike Juliet, Princess Iztaccihuatl's death was caused by a broken heart when she heard that he had been killed in battle but it is said that to this day, the warrior still keeps a watchful eye over her grave.
